I contacted Gokul through GetYourGuide website. After arranging a successful scenic mountain flight for me, we arranged a trek to Ghorepani- Poonhill- Tadapani- Ghandruk. Three days in total. I was very lucky to be assigned Shiva as my guide. He has plenty of experience on these routes. I really enjoyed our conversations, specially when he explained me about Hinduism and Buddhism elements that we found in our way. Also I appreciate that he had enough patience to wait for me every time that I needed a rest and was constantly asking if everything was ok. He introduced me to some local dishes in our way, kindly took some pictures and dealt with all transport issues successfully. The advantage of this trek is that relatively short and very scenic. The first day we hike 4 hours, the second day 8 hours and the last day 3 hours. It is highly advisable to carry hiking poles, because there are a lot of ups and downs and when starting very early in the morning, it was common to find ice, therefore you should be ready for slippery surfaces. I did the trek in January, luckily we didn't find harsh weather conditions, as blizzards. However the temperature could be as low as -5 specially when climbing up to poonHill at 6 am in the morning. I highly recommend Gokul to organise your trip, and he has the plus that he speaks very good Spanish.

Nos organizaron el viaje para los días que podíamos, tanto el guía, como los porteadores, como el guía en la visita a Katmandú excelentes profesionales y muy agradables! Gokul, el jefe, habla varios idiomas, entre ellos español, y pese a retrasos que tuvimos con los vuelos, al llegar a Katmandú, nos estaban esperando y todo fue rodado!

Grabe ang pagasikaso sa akin pagdating hanggang sa pagalis, hanggang sa pagdating. Lalo na sa Trek ng Guide ko na si Dhyan nung tinamaan ako ng altitude sickness , at muntik na di matapos ang trek, pero ang pagasikaso ni Dhyan sa akin sa Trek ay talaga namang wala akong masabi, grabe sya kung magalala, mayat maya sya king magtanong kung ok lang ako, kumain ako ng marami para lumakas. Dahil sya ang Guide ko kaya ko natapos ang Trek, tapos sa pagdating sa hotel , may pa send off dinner pa si Sir Gokul muli Maraming Salmat at Mabuhay! Hanggang sa Muli,
