Starting from Sybru Bensi, Langtang Ganjala Pass trekking ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, following the Langtang River to the east you reach to Kyanching Gompa (3,049.) and from the gompa peaks like Naya Kanga (5,846m), Ponggen Dopku (5,930m) can be seen. Mountains like Mt Langtang Lirung (7245m) , Yala peak, Dorje Lakpa(6966m), Urkeinmang(6387m), Loenpo Gang (6979) and Kangchenpo surrounds the Kyanching Gompa. You can even visit the Yala Cheese Factory started in 1955 by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance. The Yala Cheese Factory (4.633 m) and the small lakes beyond Yala are also the highlight of the trip. Yala can be reached within half a day from Kyangjin Gompa. The route is basically above 3,000m (10,000ft) and the highest point of this trekking, is Ganjala Pass (5,122m) On Ganjala, since the last few 100m trail is dangerous, ropes are used for safety. The descent from the pass is a steep slope for over 1 km, which is dangerous as well, but other than that the rest of the trail is easy and comfortable. For three days along the way, lodges and settlements cannot be found so the group should be well equipped with enough food.

Only organized camping treks are possible for this region and since use of firewood is strictly prohibited within the park, all supplies should be taken with us. A trek of 12 days, the trail takes, you to Malemchigaon and Tarke Ghyang .The people here follow the Buddhist religion so you will find many old Buddhist monasteries in the villages. Tarke Ghyang is another Sherpa town along the way, which bears its own story. The town name means temple of "100 horses" and was taken from the name of a temple established in 1727 by a Lama (Buddhist monk) who was called on by the king of Kathmandu (Kantipur) to stop an epidemic. As his reward, the Lama asked for 100 horses, which he brought here. The local temple, rebuilt in 1969, follows the Bhutanese style.

From Kyangjin Gompa, there is a long meadow and pastures of Langsisa (4.084 m) which provides the good views of numerous glaciers. There are some huts in Langsisa that can be reached within one day's walk from Kyangjin Gompa. WE can choose to go to Lansisa glacier and we can climb up to Tserku-Ri and get an amazing mountain view. Continuing the trek we reach the Helambu Village ang from there we take a bus from Melamchi bazar. The best time to Ganjala pass trekking is beginning of March to end of May and beginning of September to end of December.
