The Wildlife Reserve of Koshi Tappu provides a lifelong memorable opportunity to see some of the world’s most enchanting birds. The Reserve located in the eastern part of Nepal where a great amount of migratory birds flocking in to the particular area during migration period. Founded in 1976, the reserve is well protected from poachers and over 400 different species of birds have been recorded here. You can see the Black Ibis, Honey Kites, Ospreys, Black Headed Orioles, Peregrine Falcon, Partridges, and Storks. Rare species of birds like the Bengal Florican and Sarus Crane also find a safe refuge in this reserve.
