The Ruby Valley Trekking trail passes through Dhading, Gorkha, Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts between two popular destinations known as Langtang National Park and Manaslu Conservation Area Project. The trail offers the breathtaking mountain views and the lifestyle of diversely unified people from different cultural groups like Brahmin, Chhetri, Tamang, Newars, Chepang and Dalits. Besides that , Ruby Valley itself is one of the main attraction of this region. There are other attractions of Buddhist monasteries, Hindu temples, calm ponds, stunning glimpse of numerous beautiful mountains of Annapurna, Langtang, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu regions, different species of herbal plants, cheese factory, beautiful landscapes, crystal, ruby and zinc mining, different species of birds, beautiful forests including rhododendron and different types of rare and non rare wild animals such as Thar, Ghoral, barking deer, Red pandas, snow leopard, Bear, Tiger, wolf, pheasant, many kinds of monkeys and musk deer . The warm hospitality of local people brings life to the proverb “Guests are God” to make the journey an excellence memory of unforgettable adventure of life.
The trek starts after driving from Kathmandu to Dhading Besi via Mahendra highway. It passes through foothills and lowland farm terraces to ethnic Tamang villages on higher altitude. Along the trail, the trek offers splendid close views of Ganesh himal, Langtang, Bouddha Himal, Hiunchuli and other peaks of central Himalayas. The highest altitude on this trek is the Pangsang pass at 3850M. This pass is also one of the finest view points on the trek. Ruby Valley trek is a fully supported home stay trek which supports the life of people and will push the area to be growth economically. Home stay trek is comparatively least cost so that it is affordable most of you.

Trip Itinerary
01Day
You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and welcomed by one of our representatives. He will take you to your hotel, and later in the evening, you will meet with your guide. You will end your day with a delicious traditional welcome dinner.
02Day
We will begin our day of course with the appetizing breakfast, and after that, we will go on the guided tour. We will visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. As per our time, we will visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and three Durbar Squares. In the evening, we will have a pre-trip meeting where we will discuss the trip and check all the gears. Overnight in the hotel.
03Day
After having breakfast, we will drive towards Dhading Beshi. From here, we will begin trekking with beautiful views and reach Dharka Beshi where we will stay overnight.
04Day
We will wake up early in the morning and begin trekking after having a warm breakfast. The trail goes through several beautiful villages of Tamang’s & Brahman and lovely rhododendron & oak forest. We will reach Disang Khola for our night stay.
05Day
Leaving behind Disang Khola, we will move towards Chalish Village. The trail goes through a lovely waterfall. We will see various unique species of birds on the trail. We will cross several villages on our way before reaching Chalish Village where we will stay for a night.
06Day
Today is our rest day at Chalish Village. We will explore the village and nearby areas. We will visit Hot spring where we relax for a while. In the evening, we will return back to our hotel for overnight stay.
07Day
Waking up early in the morning and begin trekking towards Laptung. Today again the trail goes through small villages and temples. We will trek along the Ada Khola and reach Laptung. We will stay overnight in the local's house.
08Day
We will begin trekking gradually towards Somdang. We will ascend and reach Pang Sang Pass (3,850 m) from where the gorgeous views of the Himalayas can be seen. The trail includes several small villages before reaching Somdang.
09Day
Today is another rest day to make our body acclimatized with the increasing altitude. We will spend the whole day exploring the village and its nearby areas. We will get to see the tradition, culture, and lifestyle of people living here. We also interact with them and spend some quality time.
10Day
Today, we will trek towards Gatlang after having breakfast. The trail goes through several small villages and presents beautiful landscapes. We will ascend and reach Khurpudanda Pass, and after spending some quality time here, we will continue our trek towards Gatlang.
11Day
The trail today will offer wonderful views of the high cliffs. Upon reaching Syabru Besi, we will explore the entire valley. We will visit the old temple and gompas. We will stay overnight in the lodge.
12Day
We will drive back to Kathmandu after having breakfast. The drive will present beautiful views of outskirts of Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will move towards our hotel. The rest of the day is free for us to rest or explore the nearby areas on your own. In the evening, we will have farewell dinner.
13Day
After having breakfast, we will drive to Tribhuvan International Airport for our flight back to home.
